Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how I handle your personal information when you visit my website, get in touch, or book therapy sessions with me.
My name is Renata Paczkowska, I am qualified counsellor and trainee psychosexual therapist based in the UK. I provide therapy, and I collect and process some personal data to help deliver those services. This Privacy Policy applies to my website and general communications. If you become a client, you’ll receive a separate Therapy Agreement for Clients that explains in more detail how your personal information is used in therapy. During therapy, I collect personal information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, medical history, and any other relevant information needed to provide effective therapy. Your data is then used solely for therapy purposes, record-keeping, and to comply with legal or ethical obligations.
Personal Data Collection and Use
If you register or contact me, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any other info you provide. I use this so I can communicate with you, book appointments, and offer you therapy services. I only collect what I need, and I only keep it as long as necessary.
I collect this information:
Because it’s needed to provide you with services
Because I have a legitimate interest in running my practice
Sometimes because I have a legal obligation
If you don’t want to share your details, you may need to contact me first to discuss it.
If you download any resources from my website, I will ask for your name and email so I can send them to you. I’ll also add you to my email list to share useful updates, resources, and information about my therapy services. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by contacting me directly.
Data Storage and Security
Your personal data is stored securely using encrypted digital storage. I take appropriate measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. I don’t sell or trade your data. I only share it when absolutely necessary, such as:

If the law requires me to (e.g. fraud prevention)
To protect your safety or the safety of others
To comply with any legal agreement we may have
I only keep your data for as long as I need to. I review what I store regularly, and delete or update anything that’s no longer necessary or accurate.
